Kashmiri Woolen Phiran
The Kashmiri woolen phiran is a traditional, loose-fitting robe worn in the Kashmir Valley. Made from wool or a wool-blend fabric, the phiran provides warmth during the cold Himalayan winters. It is often adorned with intricate Kashmiri embroidery known as "Aari" or "Tilla" work. Both men and women wear the phiran, often over multiple layers, and it's a staple of Kashmiri ethnic identity.
